Mpls. Police Announce Reward in 2008 Hit-and-Run

Minneapolis Police announced a reward Wednesday for a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in 2008.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, James Nisser was riding a bicycle on Sept. 11, 2008, on his way to work on Excelsior Boulevard near West 32nd Street when he was hit by an SUV, and the driver took off.

Crews Repair Large Water Main Break in Rogers

Rogers Public Works crews repaired a "significant" water main break that happened on Tuesday. 

The Rogers Police Department says the break happened on the 21000 block of Rogers Drive behind Camping World. A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter was sent in to help crews figure out the exact location of the break.

Lawmakers Could Open Bars Late for All-Star Game

A Minnesota House panel is considering temporarily changing state law to let bars stay open until 4 a.m. when the All-Star Game comes to town this July.
    
The new closing time would pave the way for revelers in Hennepin County to celebrate America's national pastime for two extra hours.
    

St. Paul Expected to Approve $1M Settlement in Lilydale Deaths

The city of St. Paul has agreed to pay $1 million to the families of two children who were killed and one who was injured in a landslide during a school field trip last May.
    
The St. Paul City Council is scheduled to approve the settlement Wednesday.

2 Bodies Found in Bedroom after Crews Extinguish Fire in Living Room of Mpls. Home

Two people were found dead when crews responded to a fire at a North Minneapolis home.

According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews responded to a report of a fire on the 2900 block of Washburn Avenue North at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday.
