Alleged Good Samaritan Killer in Court Tuesday

The man police say knocked on a door and then killed the person who answered it is set to be back in court Tuesday.

Devon Parker has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Thomas Sonnenberg, who was shot and killed with his own gun in his North Minneapolis home late last month.

Wayzata High School Proposes $100 Million Expansion

The Wayzata school district is asking voters to approve $100 million dollars in bond funding to expand the high school.

The school says it has reached its capacity at 3,200 students and enrollment is expected to grow by hundreds over the next 10 years.

The district is also seeking to renew a technology levy.

Next Tuesday, a referendum vote will be held.

Some Minn. Cities Declare Snow Emergencies

Temporary parking restrictions have been imposed in Minneapolis, St. Paul and several suburbs so plows can clear away as much as a half-foot of snow from the latest storm to hit Minnesota.
    
It's the sixth snow emergency of the winter for Minneapolis, which usually declares only three in a normal winter.
