The Anoka Hennepin School District has provided principals with a fact sheet to be used when responding to any calls from parents concerned about Ebola.

The Twin Cities has a large Liberian population, and some parents have called the district with concerns over disease.

Hi-Def Surveillance Cameras Expected to Come to Mpls.

High definition could be on the way to police surveillance cameras in Minneapolis.

Despite the Minneapolis City Council Ways and Means Committee postponing a vote on Monday, the city is expected to sign a 10-year contract with Xcel Energy to install up to 110 cameras on power poles by 2018.

First-Year U of M Students Start Moving into Dorms

Students are heading back to school across the Twin Cities on Monday, including those in college.

Monday was the first move-in day for first-year students at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Parents and movers will be back Tuesday to help another wave of students on the second move-in day.

The fall semester for the U of M starts on Sept. 2.

A 37-year-old Minneapolis woman is facing attempted murder charges after she allegedly ran down a 39-year-old man in south Minneapolis during an argument, prosecutors announced Monday.

The incident happened outside of The Bulldog Uptown on Lyndale Avenue early in the morning on Aug. 15.
