Minneapolis Police, Citizens Recognized with Awards

Minneapolis police awarded key officers and good Samaritans in the community Monday for their efforts this year.

Police Chief Janeé Harteau handed out a variety of awards, including the Chief's Award of Merit to 14 officers and employees and the Medal of Valor to one officer and four civilians.

Burnsville Man Charged with Murder in Minneapolis Drive-By Death

A 34-year-old Burnsville man has been charged with murder in connection to a drive-by shooting in Minneapolis last winter.

Minnesota Twins to Visit More than 40 Communities in Winter Caravan

The Minnesota Twins have announced their plans for the club's 55th Annual Twins Winter Caravan. There will be stops in more than 40 communities throughout Minnesota between Monday, Jan. 12, and Thursday, Jan. 22.

The Twins Winter Caravan is one of the longest running and most extensive offseason team caravans in professional sports.

NFLPA Sues NFL in Adrian Peterson Case

The NFL is facing litigation after the decision to keep Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suspended until April. Peterson was indicted in September in a case involving him giving his 4-year-old son injuries after hitting him with a switch.
