Edina Art Juried Exhibition

If you haven't done so already, you'll want to check out the 29th-Annual Members’ Juried Exhibition at the Edina Art Center.  It's the center’s largest event of the year and runs through Oct. 30.

The gallery is open:

9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Ever wondered what your family heirloom or garage sale find was worth? Find out at the sixth annual Edina Historical Society Antique Appraisal Event on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Edina Senior Center.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Appraisals begin at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is strongly recommended. This popular event has sold out the past three years.

Brooklyn Park residents will have a chance to see their streets from a new perspective when their community hosts its first La Vida Zane event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will be held on Zane Avenue starting at 68th Avenue and ending at Brooklyn Boulevard.

Tickets are now on sale for the only scheduled Twin Cities showing of the documentary film "Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire." The screening is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3, at AMC Rosedale 14.

Most performances are held in the Maetzold Amphitheater at Centennial Lakes Park. For updates due to weather, please call our Concert Hotline at 952-833-9587. In case of rain, most concerts, except the noon children's performances, will be canceled. The noon children performances will be moved indoors to Edinborough Park.

The Edina Film Festival Committee in association with the Edina Art Center is calling for entries in a poster contest for the third-annual Edina Film Festival, to be held Nov. 7-9 at Landmark's Edina Cinema at 50th & France.
