Free Rides, Scavenger Hunt Offered at MOA for 'Day of Positivity'

Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America is declaring Monday, Jan. 5, "The Day of Positivity."

From 5-7 p.m., Nickelodeon Universe is celebrating by offering free rides on SpongeBob Rock Bottom Plunge or Pineapple Poppers along with a free scavenger hunt, The Great Spatula Caper (one free adventure per person).

Holiday Music Wraps Up at the Hennepin Co. Government Center

People in Minneapolis will get a treat at the Hennepin County Government Center on Thursday.

Christmas carolers who work a the Government Center will be performing holiday classics at the Skyway Level from noon to 1 p.m. The performance is an annual tradition and is part of a month-long series of concerts.

Two popular country singers are merging their tours in Minneapolis next summer.

Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean will play together at Target Field on July 18 as part of their 10-date stadium collaboration.

Chesney will be performing on his "The Big Revival Tour," and Aldean playing on his "Burn It Down Tour."

Rep. Erik Paulsen will host a roundtable discussion on Veterans Affairs on Thursday.

The Veterans Advisory Board Roundtable will talk about issues like health care, education and unemployment. Improvements to the Department of Veterans Affairs are also on the table.
