Richfield Hosts "Beautiful Garden" Tour

The City of Richfield and the Richfield Garden Club will host the annual Richfield Beautiful Garden Club tour on Saturday, July 13 from 1-5 p.m. You'll be able to tour gardens throughout the city, tended to by residents.

The tour is a fundraiser for the Richfield Garden Club and will celebrate the group's 75th birthday.

Byerly's Project on Hold

Byerly's Project on Hold

At its Feb. 27 meeting, the Edina Planning Commission tabled a request to approve the proposed redevelopment plan for the Byerly's site on France Ave.  The plan includes a new Byerly's store and three apartment buildings.  The apartment buildings would have 246 units.

Demo of Former Public Works Building

Already into the new - it's now time to get rid of the old.   The Edina City Council has approved demolition of the former Public Works Building.

After sitting vacant for more than two years, the former Public Works building is being torn down this spring.
