Winter Parking Restrictions Begin | Transportation
See those snowflakes in the air this Thursday?
it's just a reminder that winter parking restrictions are here now in Edina.
The restrictions took affect on November 1st and it means you can't park your vehicle on a City street, highway or alley under the following conditions:
--When 1.5" or more of snow has fallen. Parking is allowed again once the street has been plowed to the curb
--For 6 hours after the snowfall stops, unless traffic signs specifically allow it.
--From 1:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., November 1st to March 31st.
And a reminder from city officials--you'll avoid the $32 parking ticket and the tow if you park in your driveway or a parking lot.
